  3. Great video Dave,
I agree that resumes need to be concise and applicable to the specific job.
And that e-mails need to be well written and articulated clearly.

  5. great information Dave, in order to be seen as a professional you do need to have a good resume which can relate to the job you want and you also do need to have a well written email to let the employer know that you are serious about landing the job because you want it not because you just need the money ad have no where else to go

  7. The information in the video is very good but the best way I've been told/experienced in getting the job I'm seeking is to do research on the company you are applying for. Find out what they do, what tools they use and any procedures that they follow. Learn them and show to the employer that you are already trained and/or knowledgeable about what you need to do in the position you are applying for. If you can do this you can be almost certain that the job is yours.

  9. Having the competency to get the job done is the most important thing in the field of Technology. Being able to meet all the requirements of the job is important. However, at the end of the day, even if a worker doesn't have the best customer interaction skills or what have you, as long as he/she can complete the job in an efficient and accurate manner. The employer will always have a reputation for having the greatest success with any problem presented to them. Which is all clients want in the end; install it, maintain it, or fix it properly.
